Rabbi Mark Rantz
Rabbi Mark along with his wife, Kathleen “Kat” Rantz has served in Messianic ministry and leadership, both within the Union of Messianic Congregations (UMJC) and presently with Tikkun America for over 20 years. In 2016 they founded Beit Hallel Messianic Congregation in Ocala, FL. As leaders at Beit Hallel, Rabbi Mark and Rebbetzin Kat seek to create authentic Messianic-Jewish space by producing a life-giving culture that embraces Jewish life, the power of Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) and in making Yeshua known to the Jew first and then to all the nations and peoples of the world. Together, the members of Beit Hallel Messianic Congregation are committed to the vision of life long covenant relationships, as we walk in love as a passionate identification with the "other," for their good and as guided by Torah." Rabbi Mark attended Life Bible College in San Dimas, CA and holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis Pastoral Ministries from Biola University. Rabbi Mark also received a Masters of Theology from Bethel Seminary, with an emphasis in Hebrew and Holocaust Studies, where he wrote his Masters Thesis, "The Complicity of the German Church and the Nazi Holocaust." Presently, Rabbi Rantz is pursing a Doctor of Ministry at Bethel Seminary in Transformational Leadership.
In 2013, Rabbi Mark joined Messianic Jewish Publishers and Resources (MJPR) and served as Assistant Editor, lead contributor and rabbinical scholar in the development of the Complete Jewish Study Bible and in 2022, along with Dr. Bradford Long, Rabbi Rantz authored, "Exposing the Trojan Horse of the BLM Organization: Spiritual Warfare Strategies for Advancing the Kingdom of God." Currently, Rabbi Rantz is writing a Messianic commentary on First and Second Peter.
Rabbi Mark’s is a gifted and dedicated teacher of Torah and the B’rit Chadashah (New Covenant Scriptures) with a passion for serving God’s people, in building and modeling a life of community and in serving the greater Body of Messiah, Yeshua's One-New-Humanity.
