“Have I now become your enemy because I tell you the truth?” - Galatians 4:16, CJB Sometimes the truth hurts, but it has to be told. I’m speaking of biblical truth; the truth being that Yeshua is the way, the truth, and the light. Is it better to let someone go on believing a lie because you don’t want to hurt their feelings? No, it isn’t. To let someone, live a lie, is to keep them in their chains. Keeping someone in their chains, is to keep them from the freedom they can have in Yeshua. To keep them from the freedom they can have in Yeshua, is to keep them from having a better life. May we never back down from teaching his truth. After all, we were them once. “Stay sober, stay alert! Your enemy, the Adversary, stalks about like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Stand against him, firm in your trust, knowing that your brothers throughout the world are going through the same kinds of suffering.” - 1 Peter 5:8-9, CJB How often do we find ourselves at a crossroads? We have a life altering decision to make, but not sure what to do. There will be people in our lives who will give advice and try to direct our steps, but that may be more to benefit them, and can be detrimental to us. The only way to know for sure we’re making the right decision is to go to Yeshua in prayer. He’s the one we need to direct our steps and guides our paths. We can accomplish many things when we follow him and his direction. Be a Blessing and be Blessed! Why do so many in ministry burn out? They are so full of vim and vigor when they begin, but then they grow tired and they quit, because it wasn’t what they thought it would be. I don’t think anything is ever what we think it’s gonna be, but we need to trust what God has called us to. Ministry should be seen as something we get to do, not something we have to do. When we see it as something we have to do, the focus turns away from Yeshua, and onto our feelings, thus we become weary. When we see it as something we get to do, our focus stays on Yeshua, and we grow stronger in our walk with him. There will be trials, but if we stay the course, his blessings will pour out. “He invigorates the exhausted, he gives strength to the powerless. Young men may grow tired and weary, even the fittest may stumble and fall; but those who hope in Adonai will renew their strength, they will soar aloft as with eagles’ wings; when they are running, they won’t grow weary, when they are walking, they won’t get tired.” ~ Isaiah 40:29-31 Let’s do the work God has laid out for us with joy and thanksgiving. Be a Blessing and Be Blessed! Morning Inspirational By Rebbitzen Kathleen Rantz February 9, 2022 | 8th of Adar I, 5782 “You ask, ‘Why doesn’t the son bear his father’s guilt?’ When the son has done what is lawful and right, has kept all my laws and obeyed them, he will certainly live. The person who sins is the one that will die — a son is not to bear his father’s guilt with him, nor is the father to bear his son’s guilt with him; but the righteousness of the righteous will be his own, and the wickedness of the wicked will be his own.” - Ezekiel 18:19-20, CJB “Not Our Burden To Bear” Family history is an interesting thing. One wrong decision can affect future generations. What we thought was true is now a lie, and now we have to pay for that lie. At least that’s what we think. The sins of our ancestors are not ours to bear. When we become followers of Yeshua, we can break those ties to the past and be free of those burdens. However, this does not mean that the sins of our ancestors does not or cannot affect us wherein Exodus 34:6-7 and Deuteronomy 5:3-8 reminds that the sins of the fathers are visited on the third and fourth generation. With these, we must break sinful pattern within our family lines and renounce them over our lives. We can also repent of our own sins and be more aware of the life choices we make and how it may affect our children and future generations. We are all sons and daughters of the living God. He is the living God who saves. As long as we follow his ways, nothing can separate us from him. Be a Blessing and Be Blessed!
