WHAT WOULD GOD HAVE YOU DO TODAY?

“And they went out and proclaimed everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the message by the accompanying signs.” - Mark 16:20, CJB

Kairos- an Ancient Greek word meaning the right, critical, or opportune moment.

It can happen anywhere; at work, at the grocery store, even in traffic; an opportunity to share God’s Word.  You wake in the morning, you say your prayers, you read the Word, and then you go about your day as if you’re the only one living it.  Then it happens, that moment of opportunity, that moment to share.  Would you recognize it if you saw it?  You may be so “rushed for time” that you don’t see it.  You may see it, but you’re “not sure” if you should say anything, so you pass it by.  You think about it later and realize, it was a missed opportunity.
God has a purpose for all who believe in Him.  We need to always be aware of His presence, so when that moment arises, we can take action.  It’s important that we share His Word, so that others may have the opportunity to have a relationship with Him.  After all, Yeshua in you, is the Light of the Whole World!

“Great is Adonai and greatly to be praised; his greatness is beyond all searching out.” - Psalm 145:3, CJB

This past weekend, some of you celebrated the death and resurrection of Yeshua (Jesus). Some of us are still celebrating Passover and eating the Matzah which not only represents the freeing of the Jewish people from slavery in Egypt, but also for Messianic-believers in representing Yeshua who died for our sins.  In this, the celebration is not over!  Today, as we wake up and go into our work week, let’s not fall back into our daily routines.  Instead, may each one of us hold Him in our hearts and burst forth with joy and continuing to praise Him!  Be contagious; speak of Him; share the Good News of Yeshua!  Let’s continue to praise Him throughout our days!  Continue to praise His Majestic Glory!

Be a Blessing and Be Blessed!

THE MATZAH OF REDEMPTION AND FREEDOM!

"Get rid of the old hametz, so that you can be a new batch of dough, because in reality you are unleavened. For our Pesach lamb, the Messiah, has been sacrificed. So let us celebrate the Seder not with leftover chametz, the chametz of wickedness and evil, but with the matzah of purity and truth.” - 1 Corinthians 5:7-8, CJB

Passover marks the redemption and rebirth of the Jewish people who were freed from slavery and led to the promised land. It’s a mark of new beginnings, a new year.

One of the ways we prepare for this holiday season is to go through our homes, cleaning them from top to bottom to ensure we get all the chametz/leaven out; the leaven that also represents sin in our lives. We then bring in the matzah of purity and truth. A lot of people complain about matzah, because it’s dry and they can’t wait till they don’t have to eat it. While leaven represents the sin in our lives, for Messianic Jews, matzah represents redemption and freedom of the Jewish people. Take a good look at a piece of matzah. He was pierced for our transgressions ... by His stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5) You can see the piercing’s, the bruises, the stripes. It reminds us that He has freed us from sin and shame. In this, it doesn’t seem so dry after all.

As we eat our matzah of purity and truth this Passover season, let us not forget the one who died for our sins; the One for whom we serve. Empty our hearts and lives of sin and fill our hearts and lives with His truth. Let’s start a new season with Him.

Be a Blessing and Be Blessed!

the faith of a mustard seed

“…Yes!  I tell you that if you have trust as tiny as a mustard seed, you will be able to say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there!’ and it will move; indeed, nothing will be impossible for you.”  Matthew 17:20, CJB

God has called you for a purpose, but you’re not sure you can accomplish such a task. He wouldn’t call you to it if He didn’t know you could do it.  Your first response might be something like, “Really God, are you sure you have the right person?”  That was my first response.

I never saw myself as a Rabbi’s wife, yet here I am.  I never saw myself as writer, yet here I am.  I never thought I’d leas worship, yet here I am.

It’s easy to see the calling in someone else’s life than in your own.   Because we don’t see it in ourselves, fear of not knowing starts to creep in.  You might wonder if you heard correctly; doubt starts to form in your mind.  “What if I fail?”  Having the faith of a mustard seed is all you need to know you can do it.  Whatever God has called you to do for a moment, a day, of a lifetime, He has opened that door.  Take that first step forward and you will find yourself doing things you never thought you could do.

Be a Blessing and Be Blessed!
