“But in my mind, I keep returning to something, something that gives me hope — that the grace of Adonai is not exhausted, that his compassion has not ended. [On the contrary,] they are new every morning! How great your faithfulness! “Adonai is all I have,” I say; “therefore I will put my hope in him.” Lamentations 3:21-24, CJB Whether it’s work, home, or just being out and about in public, life can be a struggle sometimes. But we can always go to Adonai with our problems. He never grows tired or weary of us coming to him. A lot of times we make the wrong choice, and we reap the consequence of it, but his grace finds us. The past is gone; today is a day to start fresh. With every choice you have to make from this point on, put your hope and trust in The Lord. He will not steer you down a wrong path. Be a Blessing and Be Blessed! “Sing praise to Adonai, you faithful of his; and give thanks on recalling his holiness. For his anger is momentary, but his favor lasts a lifetime. Tears may linger for the night, but with dawn come cries of joy... You turned my mourning into dancing! You removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, so that my well-being can praise you and not be silent; Adonai my God, I will thank you forever!” ~ Psalm 30:5-6,12-13, CJB “Joy still comes in the morning, Hope still walks with the hurting.” As I woke this morning the song, “Alive and Breathing by Matt Maher, was in my head. Then I turned on the news only to see that a little girl got caught in the crossfire and was killed. I was saddened and angry by the senseless act in how she died. Then my mind went to all the senseless tragedies, and all the hardships we go through every day in our lives. Many of us have gone through loss, pain, and hardship; many still are. Some more than others, but we shouldn’t measure these things by degrees; suffering is suffering. While it’s easy to get lost in all the tsuris (trouble or woe), we shouldn’t stay there. All of us who are believers in Yeshua, have seen first-hand the things he has done in our lives. All we have to do is look back on our lives, and we can see how Yeshua led us through every struggle. God turns our mourning into dancing, our sadness into joy, and our doubt into faith. It’s because of him we are able to forgive those that betray us. As hard as we know it is sometimes, let’s walk in joy and praise him through every storm. Thank you, Lord, for all you’ve done, everything you are doing now, and everything you will do. Let us pray for those that don’t know Yeshua; that they would receive him into their lives, so that they may have a right relationship with him. Be a Blessing and Be Blessed! We are made so incredibly different, yet we are made in his image. Why is it then all throughout life, people feel they have to fit into someone else’s mold? I believe it’s because anything different from their norm is scary. Children will play with others well until peer pressure happens, and they become afraid of what others will think of them. Some will fall into it because they want to fit in, leaving their other friends in the dust because now they aren’t good enough. Soon enough children become adults and find the same behavior where they live, in their workplace, also within their place of worship. Yes, even in their congregations where we are taught to love one another as he loved us, there are clicks. They only want to be with their own kind, making others feel not worthy. These people will judge others on how they look and how they dress. They will make newcomers feel unwelcome. Just as when they were younger, they want to fit people into their mold. Friends, life isn’t about fitting into someone’s idea of who you should be, or their idea of how you should live. It’s about who God made you to be, and how he wants you to live. We are ALL made in his image. He gave us his son Yeshua to die on the cross for OUR sins; and that ALL that believe in him would not perish but have everlasting life. We are all taught to love one another as he loves us. We have a book (B.I.B.L.E.) that teaches us “Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth.” Let us share it with others, so they can do the same. Let us see one another as he sees us and love one another as he loves us. Be a Blessing and Be Blessed! Whoever puts his trust in me will live, even if he dies; and everyone living and trusting in me will never die. Do you believe this’?” - John 11:25 CJB Yes, I do. Whether you celebrate his resurrection during Passover or Easter; one thing is clear, he is risen. Although his resurrection is only recognized once a year, he is with us always. Through the ups and downs, the highs, and lows, he is there. He shows himself to us every day. We can put our trust in him because he will never steer us wrong. He is the resurrection. We are free because he died for us. We are alive because he lives. His is a life that should be celebrated every day. Let us live a life worthy of him. Be a Blessing and Be Blessed!
