FROM SILENCE TO BOLDNESS!

10/28/2019

“And now, Lord, look upon their threats and grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all boldness, while you stretch out your hand to heal, and signs and wonders are performed through the name of your holy servant [Yeshua].” And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.” (Acts 4:29-31, English Standard Version)

When you witness to people, do you at times find you’re being overly careful because you don’t want to hurt someone’s feelings?  Do you fear you are going to be berated, and feel you have to watch what you are saying?

When broken people come into your place of worship, do you remain SILENT because you’re not sure of what will happen?

We need to get back to being BOLD for the Lord!  We need to climb out of the box we felt we were forced to climb into.  We need to not worry about hurt feelings because we shared His truth with those who need to hear it.

Not sharing his Word will only leave us stagnant and others struggling, where they’re at.

Yeshua’s talmidim (disciples) didn’t clam up after he died on that torture-stake.  They went out there and shared anywhere and everywhere regardless of the cost (Acts 4:31).  And even in their dying, they still shared!

Stop letting society tell you what to do and bring the broken back to Yeshua!

Be a Blessing and Be Blessed!

REJOICE IN THE LORD ALWAYS!

“Halleluyah! Praise God in his holy place! Praise him in the heavenly dome of his power! Praise him for his mighty deeds! Praise him for his surpassing greatness! Praise him with a blast on the shofar! Praise him with lute and lyre! Praise him with tambourines and dancing! Praise him with flutes and strings! Praise him with clanging cymbals! Praise him with loud crashing cymbals! Let everything that has breath praise Adonai! Halleluyah!” - Psalm 150:1-6 CJB

We are now in the midst of Shmini Atzeret/Simchat Torah, where we celebrate the love of God and the Torah, his Word.  We’ve ended the cycle with Deuteronomy, and now begin again with Genesis.  In between are good times, bad times, and lots of persecution.  There are many wars and victories, and the glory goes to God.

So is such in our own lives.  We go through a lot of trials and tribulations, but God always gets us through.  As long as we live our lives for him, His mercy and promise will never fail.  So, let’s continue to celebrate him and rejoice in him all the days of our lives.  For he is worthy!

Be a Blessing and Be Blessed!

REMEMBERING ADONAI THROUGH ALL OF IT!

10/14/2019

“Hallelujah! Servants of Adonai, give praise! Give praise to the name of Adonai! Blessed be the name of Adonai from this moment on and forever! From sunrise until sunset Adonai’s name is to be praised. Adonai is high above all nations, his glory above the heavens” - Psalm 113:1-4, CJB

It’s easy to say Hallelujah and to praise Adonai when things are going great in our lives, but what about when things are not going so well? Our initial reactions may be feelings of anger, sadness, or indifference. While these feelings are quite normal, they shouldn’t be the place where we live. Living there only brings more despair. Remembering Adonai through all of it is what gets us through those hard times, whatever those hard times may be. Seasons of change bring changes in our lives. When God is on the move we need to move with Him. Our lives were not meant to be at a standstill. He grows our lives, He has plans for our future.

So, say Hallelujah servants of Adonai and praise Him in your storm.

Be a Blessing and Be Blessed!
