"I tell you that if two of you here on earth agree about anything people ask, it will be for them from my Father in heaven. For wherever two or three are assembled in my name, I am there with them.” - Matthew 18:19-20 CJB We hear about praying together, we talk about praying together, we sing about praying together, yet there are those in their time of need, that will not ask for prayer. Maybe it’s shame, maybe it’s weakness; for whatever reason, they don’t want people to know, so they keep their worries to themselves. The enemy tricks them into thinking they will be a burden and need to stay silent. I myself have heard that from people. There’s nothing wrong with praying on our own, but when the battle gets hard, praying with others makes us stronger. There is no longer a feeling of doubt or shame, but a feeling of strength from inside that helps us face our battles head on. If there is something going on in your life that is just too much, ask for prayer. There is strength in numbers. We should never have to go through our troubles alone. Be a Blessing and Be Blessed! “Go, assemble all the Jews to be found in Shushan, and have them fast for me, neither eating nor drinking for three days, night and day; also, I and the girls attending me will fast the same way. Then I will go in to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish.” Then Mordechai went his way and did everything Esther had ordered him to do.” - Esther 4:16-17 “Adonai is your guardian; at your right-hand Adonai provides you with shade — the sun can’t strike you during the day or even the moon at night. Adonai will guard you against all harm; he will guard your life. Adonai will guard your coming and going from now on and forever.” - Psalm 121:5-8 With the Feast of Purim upon us, I think of Esther and the courage this woman had to go into the throne room of the King, knowing that if anyone knew she was Jewish, she could die! Esther fasted and prayed for three days for His protection over her, and He provided it. She put her complete trust in Him. We go through many trials, some more than others, but in those trials, Adonai is there guiding us through. We may not see Him in the moment, but when we look back, we see where He was in all of it. By fasting and praying when going through trials, we can focus on Him who gets us through. Just like with Esther, Adonai has specific tasks that He chooses us to do. He will protect us and see us through till that task is complete. Be a Blessing and Be Blessed! Remember that as your reward, you will receive the inheritance from the Lord. You are slaving for the Lord, for the Messiah.” Colossians 3:23-24 CJB Wake up children of the Lord, God is calling you! What is God calling you to today? Whether it be your job or ministry, God is calling you. As we prepare ourselves for a new day, let us be aware, and make room for what Yeshua has in store for us. We can’t be so caught up in our daily tasks that when He calls, we only give Him 50%, because we either have others things to do, or we’re too tired. The time is now to say, “Yes Lord, I will do this.” Obedience, Covenant, and Relationship! Don’t see it as a chore, but something you get to do. God chose you for this moment; choose to give God your all! “There’s a yes in our hearts that carries through eternity, simple obedience changes history.” (Lindy Conant and the Circuit Riders). Let’s be obedient when He calls! Monday Morning Inspirational by Rebbitzen Kat March 11, 2019 “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit inside you; I will take the stony heart out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.” - Ezekiel 36:26 - CJB
Spring is in the air! Can you feel it? We’re leaving that place of dark and dreary and coming into the place of fresh and new. Not that our hearts change towards one another, but depending on where you may live, wintertime can make you go into that place of blah. Sometimes you want to hide away and hibernate, and not face the elements outside. Springtime is an awakening; you’re filled with new life and new energy. In the same way that nature outside is blooming, your heart is blooming also. The cobwebs in your heart are being cleaned out, can you feel it? It’s that same feeling you get when you know God is getting ready to do something new in your life. You get excited and you anticipate the newness that is coming. He renews our hearts, He renews our Spirits. Let us embrace Him, and let those who see us, see Him. Be a Blessing and Be Blessed! Monday Morning Inspirational by Rebbitzen Kat March 4, 2019 |
