“The things which we have heard and known, and which our fathers told us we will not hide from their descendants; we will tell the generation to come the praises of Adonai and his strength, the wonders that he has performed.”- Psalm 78:3-4, CJB For centuries there have been uprisings trying to obliterate God from society. Although on the surface it looks like they’ve succeeded, they haven’t really. For if they had, they would not still be fighting for their freedom from religion. Most recently, there are people who want to tear down statues of Yeshua/Jesus. Even if they succeed in that, God will not be obliterated. His word is written in our hearts. His word was given so that we may teach others. As it says in the V’Ahavta, “... And have these words which I command you this day, be upon your heart. And you shall teach them diligently to your children, and speak of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you retire, and when you arise. ...”. As long as we have oral tradition, God can never be erased. As we wait for Yeshua’s/Jesus’ return, we will proclaim, he was, he is, and he is to come. Be a Blessing and Be Blessed! “...still, I will rejoice in Adonai, I will take joy in the God of my salvation.” Habakkuk 3:18, CJB As this year approached, who would have thought this would be the year of utter chaos? 2020, a new year, a new decade, a new vision. Instead of it being the perfect start to a perfect decade, we’ve seen nothing but illness, death and anarchy. We’ve been ruled over and lead around like cattle. We are halfway through the year now, and it’s hard to not be annoyed with all that’s going on. But, we as believers know that Yeshua’s light outshines the darkness. Let’s not become bitter over what we are seeing around us. Remember, God is our salvation, we will trust in him and not be afraid to let his light emanate through us. Choose to walk in joy every day, and let that joy be contagious to those around you. Be a Blessing and Be Blessed! Monday Morning Inspirational By Rebbitzen Kat 30th of Sivan, 5780 | June 22, 2020 “Blessed be Adonai, my rock, who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle.”- Psalm 144:1, CJB We are now living in a time of uncertainty. Chaos continues to ensue this country, making some fearful of the outcome. Our country is being dismantled right before our eyes. Our Police and Firemen who for months were essential and being praised, are now being vilified. Many of us have been praying for an end to this and protection over those who need it. As we pray, we need to also prepare ourselves for battle. We are not just dealing with human beings, there are evil forces in play here. If you believe the word of God, then you know that to be true. So, let’s not sit back and say, “this too shall pass.” We need to prepare ourselves both spiritually and physically. He trains us and instructs us on what to do. “So, take up every piece of war equipment God provides; so that when the evil day comes, you will be able to resist; and when the battle is won, you will still be standing.” Ephesians 6:13. This is Spiritual Warfare - Let’s come together and do God's work! If we come together as one body, we can win this! Be a Blessing and Be Blessed! Monday Morning Inspirational By Rebbitzen Kat 23rd of Sivan, 5780 | June 15, 2020 “You meant to do me harm, but God meant it for good — so that it would come about as it is today, with many people’s lives being saved.” Genesis 50:20, CJB Only just a few weeks ago we were getting through this pandemic together. People spoke of love and holding each other up through this trial; that we are all in this together. Then in the blink of an eye, it all came crashing down with the murder of George Floyd. The hate and rage surfaced and divided us all once more. How could this happen? How can you love one moment and hate so violently the next? It happens because God wasn’t in any of it; it was a false love. Yes, we can all get upset and angry when things go awry, but when God is in the center of all things, the love is real and we are able to control our actions. As things unfold before us with these riots, we as believers need to continue to believe that God will turn all things for good. We need to continue to press in with prayer, praise, worship. These are the things that strengthen us. If we continue to be the light in the darkness, we will see a victory. Let’s all continue to pray God’s will in all of this. Be a Blessing and Be Blessed! Monday Morning Inspirational By Rebbitzen Kat 16th of Sivan, 5780 | June 8th, 2020 “You have heard that our fathers were told, ‘Love your neighbor — and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you!” - Matthew 5:43-44, CJB If you are a person who prays, this message is for you. Watching these riots on T.V., is stirring up a lot of emotions within us and we need to turn those emotions into prayer. Because we are believers in Yeshua, we can do that. The people causing all this violence don’t know Yeshua. They don’t know about his teachings, his love, or the persecution he went through. They don’t know that although he was persecuted, he still hung on that cross and died for our sins. They don’t know that before he died, he forgave all who persecuted him. All they know is anger which brings on the violence. We know how to pray, which will bring on the peace. Violence begets Violence, Peace begets Peace! Be a Blessing and Be Blessed!
