“Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God.” - James (Ya’akov) 1:19-20, ESV Social Media has been relied upon so much these days, for meetings, schools, etc. More people have gotten on social media as too stay in touch with friends and family. We’re also able to see a lot more of what’s going on in the world. In light of recent events, what we see is a lot of hate toward others who are in disagreement of some things that are posted. When we as believers receive the hate speech ourselves, we should not respond in kind. It’s very easy to fall into another’s trap if we let the flesh lead us. We need to sit back and ask God for wisdom on how to answer those who attack. “ ... for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God.” Dear friends, when we are persecuted online for righteousness sake (Matt. 5:10), let us respond with grace, wisdom and reason from the word of the living God. Our calling is not to return anger for anger or hate for hate, but instead be Messiah's Ambassadors on earth! Be a Blessing and Be Blessed!
