“For, brothers, you were called to be free. Only do not let that freedom become an excuse for allowing your old nature to have its way. Instead, serve one another in love. For the whole of the Torah is summed up in this one sentence: “Love your neighbor as yourself”; but if you go on snapping at each other and tearing each other to pieces, watch out, or you will be destroyed by each other!” - Galatians 5:13-15, CJB That’s exactly what’s been happening. I’ve seen it on Social Media. There are so many of us going back and forth maligning each other because of our different views on what’s going on in the United States right now. We can’t let ourselves get so wrapped up in society issues that we lose sight of who we are. We are followers of Yeshua. Our freedoms in this country might feel like they are being taken away, but he has given us the ultimate freedom that can never be taken away. We are always going to have different views and differences of opinions, but we are one body in in him. We need to stop fighting amongst each other. Instead, love one another, pray for one another. See each other through these trying times. How are we supposed to witness to non-believers if we can’t even witness to each other. Last year is gone. New Year, new start! Let’s go back to his foundation. Let’s not just read his Word, let’s live it. Let’s exercise our freedom, but not battle one another. Be a Blessing and Be Blessed!
