“You have heard that our fathers were told, ‘Love your neighbor — and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you!” - Matthew 5:43-44, CJB If you are a person who prays, this message is for you. Watching these riots on T.V., is stirring up a lot of emotions within us and we need to turn those emotions into prayer. Because we are believers in Yeshua, we can do that. The people causing all this violence don’t know Yeshua. They don’t know about his teachings, his love, or the persecution he went through. They don’t know that although he was persecuted, he still hung on that cross and died for our sins. They don’t know that before he died, he forgave all who persecuted him. All they know is anger which brings on the violence. We know how to pray, which will bring on the peace. Violence begets Violence, Peace begets Peace! Be a Blessing and Be Blessed!
