“Do nothing out of rivalry or vanity; but, in humility, regard each other as better than yourselves — look out for each other’s interests and not just for your own.” -Philippians 2:3-4, CJB Envy, conceit, selfishness … We as human beings may feel these things from time to time, but we as believers also know that these things are not of God. Because we know this, we also know that if we hold these feelings in our hearts, we’ve in turn, made no room for God. What we say and do matters. If we say or do hurtful things to each other, that is not of God. Adonai commands us to love one another, so we can have hurt feelings and still choose to love one another. When we’ve made room in our hearts for God, then we can put bad feelings aside and be the people he has made us to be. Let’s remember who we are in him and hold love in our hearts, making no room for the other! Be a Blessing and Be Blessed!
